Either design can be resized to fit either requirements of the assignment. I feel as if they are better off suited uncut and for the t-shirt, in my opinion.

Just a cartoon teen, with a semi-unsure expression, surrounded by a few of the possibilities she can pursue in the future.
Brochure Design. Simple and Clean? I say "yes."
